The gentleman looked at Frodo for the longest time, and then he said "Mr. Frodo, I know that I know you. We have met somewhere before, or I have been graced by your presence in another time and place, but I know you." Frodo wasn't really sure what to say, since he had absolutely no point of reference. Imagine that it is Saturday night, and the familiar tune introduces the main characters in a television drama that will rule the waves for a decade or more, and that the "stars" therein, are replaced by the current crop of clowns who happen to be the principals in the Republicant competition to challenge President Obama.
Ted Baxter is portrayed by Newt Gingrich.
Phyllis is Michelle Bachmann.
Tim Pawlenty is Carlton, the Doorman.
Murray is Donald Trump.
Gordy is Herman Cain.
Sue Anne Nivens is Sarah Palin.
Mr. Grant is John McCain, of course (he hates "perky").
Chuckles, the Clown (who died) is Mitt Romney.
Mary and Rhoda were almost sane, therefore Frodo's play is incomplete. He will, of course, accept suggestins.
