Despite possession of one of the most distinctive of voices, all he has to do is stand there, and to lift his eyes beyond yours. Perhaps he sees what we do not. There is an attraction that goes beyond the physical, perhaps into the metaphysical, that defies simple description, and requires Frodo to look deep into himself in order to understand what it is that fills his own eyes with moisture.
Standing crowds cheer as he saunters about the stage, and those who share that platform appear as if, they, too, are caught up in the magic that fills the air. It is an electric moment, magnified by the toothiest grin in all the world. He laughs, and we laugh with him. He knows that he is the first of his kind, and that years of injustice are peeled away in his honor. We all seem to covet a little participation in a truly seminal event.
